Hi

a script like this:

if sdlgfopen "Choose Claim File" sFileSpec SINGLE sFile
getfilename sBaseFile sFile
fetch dnldpath sRenameFile
addfilename sRenameFile sBaseFile

from changing, if you have to go to an other folder to chose a file.

Thanks
Miguel

Miguel, I'm not sure what you are looking for here. There is a problem with sdlgfopen on Win2K and XP where the directory that is searched does not use the value of the variable (sFileSpec in your case), is that what you are seeing?

Hi Knob

Yes. If I choose a file from sdlgfopen in an other folder it will keep that other folder when I run it again. I don't want that.

Thanks
Miguel

Unfortunately I am not aware of a workaround for this behavior. I talked to a former Procomm developer and it was something that changed in Windows 2000 that caused this issue I believe (and I think XP is affected as well). Symantec would need to release a patch to fix this problem and I don't think they have any plans to do so in the future.
