How to install?

I have the netware 4.0 cd. I just dont really know how to install the software. Is there a HOWTO somewhere that I may look at?

quick and dirty-

1. install dos > ver 5(50MB partition)
2. boot to dos partition (load cdrom drivers)
3. install novell 4.0 from cd (d:\install)
4. default install values will get you started

errr, I would take the 4.0 CD to the top of a high rise and see what kind of distance you can get with it (how on earth did you get a hold of a 4.0 CD in the first place?). 4.0 is as bad as Cairo Alpha 1 (aka Windows NT 4.0). NetWare 4.0x is were Novell stumbled and loss a lot of customer faith. Novell didn't have somthing decent until 4.10 and they finnaly got it right with 4.11 (but then some lame marketing dweeb had to go change the name to IntraNetWare, Eric Schimdt fixed that).

Try useing NetWAre 5.1 if you want to load and learn NetWare. Here is alink to VERY good set of instructions that basicly walks you through the install.

You might as well go to novell's site, download the netware 6 demo and learn that instead.
