Hello,

I am trying to install a new WD2500JB 250GB internal drive. Ofcourse, I am running into the formatting issue with a max of 137 GB allowed. I have another 160GB drive running off a RAID controller. I can't get the WD 250GB drive to format beyond the allowed 137 GB. Its been so long I forgot how I got past this issue with the 160 GB drive. Susggestions??

That's what I thought. No Luck so far.

Do I have to run a cable to a RAID colroller to format and use one partition on a 250 GB drive?

Some of the Western Digital drives have an odd jumper setting, that you do not see from other drive manufacturers. See if the drive is set by jumpers to properly reflect it is not a single drive in a dual drive setting.
