How to Install c compiler on aix 5.2??

Hello,

I´m newby in AIX and I have a problem when I try to install c compiler to execute cc.
I have 7 cd with aix and software packets.
I executed smit to isntall this packets:
# lslpp -L all|grep xl
xlC.aix50.rte 6.0.0.13 C F C Set ++ Runtime for AIX 5.0
xlC.cpp 5.0.2.0 C F C for AIX Preprocessor
xlC.msg.en_US.cpp 5.0.2.0 C F C for AIX Preprocessor
xlC.msg.en_US.rte 6.0.0.0 C F C Set ++ Runtime
xlC.rte 6.0.0.0 C F C Set ++ Runtime
But I don´t find cc to compile.

I think that I need to install this packet xlC.C but I'm not sure and I don't find it in aix cds neither in the expansion pack.

How can I get c compiler for aix from IBM media?

Well, first, you'd have to buy it. It is not on the AIX installation CDs or DVDs. You can't get it for free.

Perhaps gcc is an alternative?

I have installed gcc-4.0.0-1.aix5.2.ppc.rmp from AIX Toolbox for Linux Applicatiosn.
