How to install AIX?

Folks,

I have F50 and 43P and both have old version of AIX and Oracle on it, basically I would like to remove everything from both and install AIX 4.3.3 and Oracle 8.1.7.

Is there any good web site with instruction lists or guidelines on how to install AIX? Is there anything I need to bear in mind before wiping everything off the server and desktop, bootable file?

Any feedback or advice would be greatly appreciated.

That would be great, does this documentation explain how to install AIX too? I am totally novice when it comes to installing AIX. I have never have done this task before and if I am honest I am a bit worried.

If you are doing a clean install, there is not much to worry about. =) There is a book, "AIX Installation Guide" which you should be able to either download or read in HTML from IBM, start at

http://www.rs6000.ibm.com,

but I think you can go straight to the library by adding /cgi-bin/ds_form to that URL.
