I have many reports, all the reports are have a common header. We want to use a subreport as header.Insted of inserting a subreport at design time , is there any way to insert a subreport at runtime?
I would say almost certainly No to this using the CR Designer alone, If your using VB or some other development tool as a front end then this may be possible bu I would think rather messy.
Why do you need a sub report ?
Why do you think you need to add this a t run time and not design time ?

The reason i need the subreport dynamically is,
insted of asking my team members to add a subreport (Report Header which will have separate datasource) every time they design therir report, i will desgin a report with the my requirements and while i am showing the report form the application, i will combine this subreport(report header) along with the main report and show it to the user. That is how i will save lot of time.
Ofcourse, if i dont find any method, i will ask my team members to insert at the design time only..
Parker, if you have any knowledge on ADO .Net(XML) datasources, Please let me know how to assign that datasource dynamically.
