Hi all.
I have a 3300 on MiVB 8 which I need to setup EVM AA.
Voice Mail> System Greetings> VM Greetings has only 4 Port IDs and I see that other systems have 20.
How do I increase these Port IDs?
Thank you.

Because you have 4 ports I think you've got a CX/CX-I. To increase the ports to a max. of 16 you need to add a DSP-II module. If you have a CX-II/CXi-II you also have a max of 16 but no need of additonal hardware.

It is a CXi. Thanks for the info.

A bit rusty now with the physical controllers, not sure if compression licenses are required as well to go with the DSP card?

I did add an additional DSP card.
On another note when i dial my VM ports they ring then become quite.
Why are they quite?

In fact they ring once and cut off

If you think your VM configuration is sound, then, I suppose you might require compression licenses to go with the DSP card (again, I am not certain)
You can overprovision compression licenses, try this and see if it works.
I might be wrong, it's been awhile since i play with VM ports & DSP.

Any errors in the logs
