how to increase communication buffer, (win98)

when launching peachtree acct. program i get a betrieve error. communication buffer < 16541

Do it yourself:
You may need to change your registry settings:
Click start, then run
type regedit
click the + in fornt of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
click the + in front of Btrieve Technologies
click the + in front of Microkernel Workstation
click the + in front of version 6.15
double-click settings
on the right window pane, right-click maximum connections
click modify
click decimal
increase the number to 64512
click hexadecimal
click ok
close registry
