Can somebody give me some tips or tell me if it is possible to import music from a minidiscplayer into iTunes or at least to my G4? I like to make my own music and I record it to a minidisc, I just need to import it to my Mac to edit it further on and to write it on a CD as Audio CD. My guess is it must be possible. OS9 or OS X sollutions are welcome.
Do I need extra hardware and/or software?

I have the G3 tower with rca inputs and outs for audio as well as video and I refuse to part with this convience. Also being the owner of the G4 series for multitrack recording purpose, I use Mark Of The Unicorn's 2408 & 24I for audio in and out flow. For you, I would suggest an inexpensive stereo audio card inserted in your pci slot for audio input into your computer since Mac refused to make this standard as in earlier generations. Depending on your the card you purchase, you may also need a rca to miniplug adapter (Radio Shack) or elsewhere. Finally depending on the type of audio editing youre into, Peak audio editing software among others works wonders on audio. Yahoo or other browsers should help you in your search for very inexpensive sound cards for the Mac. Good Luck
