Hi All,

Anyone please direct me how to import MDF and LDF files, which are stored on two different floppy disks into local SQL Server 2000. As a new user of SQL Server 2000, I also need your help to point me where I am able to get good online sources to educate myself. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Lenka.

Use SQL Books Online as the first reference. If you don't what SQL BOL are or where to find them check faq183-689. There are also many good resources listed in the SQL Server Resources topic in the FAQ area of this forum.

Copy the MDF and LDF files to a drive on the server or PC, preferably to the SQL Server data area. Then attach the files using SQL Server Enterprise Manager or SQL Server Query Analyzer. See the following SQL BOL links.
