Hi,
How do you export outlook 2000 data ,that is using exchange 2000, so that I can import the data into Outlook express 6?

The manager wants to specifically move his outlook 2000 contacts into his home outlook express.

Thank you for your help!

These are two steps:

A. TO export contacts to a csv file.

1. Open outlook 2000, click File menu->Import and export.
2. Select "Export to a file", click "Next"
3. Select "Comma separated values(Windows), click "Next"
4. Select "Contacts" folder, click "Next"
5. Type in a file name, e.g. "contact.csv",click "Finish"
B. Import the csv file to outlook express
1. Open outlook exporess
2. Click File->Import->other address book
3. Select "Text file(comma separated values), click "Import"
4. Select the csv exported from outlook 2000, click "next"
5. Click Finish.
6. Check the contact folder and everything is done!

Best wishes!

Jack Tian

Thanks for writting out the steps. It's greatly appreciated.

I haven't had a chance to try the process yet. But when I do I'll let you know how it went.

Thanks again
