How to Implement Check Boxes

Hi Friends

I am very well versed with Data Grid and Flex Grid, i know in both of them we can integrate Check boxes, But also know that Flex Grid takes lot of efforts and Data Grid is bound control, where as what i am looking for some Grid kind of Control which is not bound and can be populated with Check Boxes with least possible efforts and should allow effective looping and saving of data.

Means Checked record should be saved...

Take a look at Farpoint Spread Control, Not sure how much it costs, but I have used it in the past and is well worth the money.

I need to update a check box in a farpoint spread when another check box is checked or unchecked and show the results immediately. I have tried to do this in the button clicked and change events. Neither will update the other check box cell till I leave the current cell. Any ideas on how to do this?

We've done something similar with datagrids where we MOVE a textbox and/or a combobox to a cell in the datagrid. When the user enters text into the textbox or selects an item from the combobox, the data is written to the datagrid. Is this what you had in mind?

Not exactly. The grid is already populated with the appropriate data and the cells are already formated correctly. What I had in mind was when a user checks a box in the grid I want other optional boxes to show as checked or unchecked automatically. To date I have not been able to show the other boxes as check until I leave the current cell with the checkbox. I want an immediate update of the other boxes.

Does the grid have a refresh method? You might need to call that.
