Hey all,

This seems like it should be easy, but I can't seem to find it. I've got an icon in the system tray and I'd like to identify the source program for it (I suspect it might be a malware type of thing). How do I find out which processes/programs are running which icons?

install a proggie called "prcview".It can show you all the paths to the processes that are running. Then you will be able to tell what doesn't belong there and what does.

Have you any further information available by passing the mouse cursor over the icon or looking at the icon list in the Taskbar/ Properties/ Hide inactive icons/ Customize?
