Hello,

I need to know how to setup out music on hold to our Option 61C meridian switch? We had it hooked up before but we moved out switch now it does not work. I see where the music is playing and the cable is running to it goes into a box with a dial switch that has 10 settings. It also has some jumper wire just hanging from it so I imagine that is what is not hooked up currently? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,

Paul Tudor

I did LD 20 and looked up the MUS and found the TN for it. I punched down the line to the TN from the music box and it still does not work any suggestions?

Thanks,

PTALLY

The dial with 10 settings is possibly a volume control. Ensure the volume is set high enough. Using a telephone test set, clip on the MUS TN to make sure the music volume is set to an adequate level. Then test by making an external call to your cell phone and placing your cell on hold. Listen from your cell to determine if music volume is too soft or too loud. Adjust volume to desired level.

and if that don't work try putting "mus" to yes in the route that you want music, and define a conf loop for it, adn then....................

put your test set on the tn an see if you hear music. If you don't check your music source. If you do check your route data.
