I have a KX-TDA100 with a DLC16 card. I'm trying to hook up the KX-TVA50 VPS to the PBX. From what I've read, it's basically a matter of hooking up Jack 1 on the VPS to the extensions on the DLC16.

As I'm new to Panasonic phone systems, as everyone can see, I'm just not sure of the exact wiring and was hoping someone could diagram it for me.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

if only it was that easy.

you have to have the programming tool to get to card programming to tell the extension is a VM and you will need the tvm software to set up that properly

You go to slot and card property's go to the extension thevm is on and take out of service. Change port to vm and save put back in to service. If the run light stops flashing on the vm it is talking to system.
You will need the vm program tool to set up thevoice mail

Thank you obtsystems, I will give it a try and let you know.

To be fair, there is a section in the TVA manual that explains in detail how to integrate the VM to a Panasonic TDA system. It tells you what to do for both the PBX and the VM, what to change, where to find it.

Here's an example On page 91+ they tell you where to look and what to set. Did you use a manual to begin with? How simple is that?

So the "Tek Tip" is RTFM. Or do you plan on asking each step of the way?
