i need to hide the charachters as they are entered into a password field....... got to be some kind of format thing.....
ps the real charachters are entered to a table for comparison ot another field.

in the field properties set "input mask" under the data tab to Password.

The all you should see are **********'s

Use the password mask.

With the form open in design mode, and the Properties window open (frmo the menu, "View" -> "Properties").

- Select the text box.
- Select the "Data" tab from the properties window.
- Select the "Input Mask" field (white text box space)
- then click on the "..." command button that appears to the right of the Input Mask field.

This fires up the "Input Mask wizard". Select "Password" and complete process / steps for the wizard.
