I would like to know how to hide something while playing a movie. Let me explain this.

I have a website, with a section (everything's ok from this point hehe) and this page is full...I have an animation when you click on a link....but the link appears with the text allready written on the page...and I would like this text to be hidden when the movie's playing.

check in "the band" section!

tnx in advance...

Tu parles du nouveau scroll qui est par dessus la bio des membres?
That's going to be a hard one man!

Gonna have to leave this to old unless you provide further info here. Your movie takes too long to load on my connection.

However, how about this:

You click the link, which opens the flash movie. You then put the getURL in the last frame of the Movie, rather than on the button?

Just a thought

Have a nice day

Did i do something wrong? let me know, i just helped someone out...

Do you understand my problem with the movie over the text allready there? If not, I can explain...

Like I said Mike, I can't download you're movie because my connection is slo I would be glad to help, but you're gonna have to be more explanatory so that I can resolve this mentally rather than visually.

I'm all yours while I wait for a response on another forum.

Hey! Mike!
I have your fla, I speak french, and I don't understand your question? I doubt Dave will without lookin' at it... and he won't because of his connection!
So give us more details...
What do you mean by "movie playing in the band section" and what link? What about your scroll now covering the band members' bio?

Ok, in "the band" section I have ever member's bio. When you click on a member, there's a fade in text (my movie) which is the description (bio) of the member. Ok! but, under the members pictures (the buttons that play the fade in movie) I have a scroll text box that I would like to disapear when I ask for a members bio. Everything is in the same scene. Is this possible ? or just add a button that would switch off the text box...i don't know...i'm simply blocked! jammed! %-)

put the text box within a movie-clip nad then put an action on the button which sets the visiblility of the mmovie-clip to zero when pressed.

Tnx you two, I figured out that i'm too dumb to program those things B-) so I just change the page settings so it fits and this is not coming toward the text :)

Tnx alot, you're masters! (flash masters, but masters..)

Ciao
