Please give me advice me how can I suppress group footer if there is no data in the report.

The report has two groups. Groop-1 footer contains summary totals and appears on the new page (I am using New Page Before). If there is no data displayed in the report, this page shows up as a second page with zeros and the user wants to suppress it.

I was trying to suppress it taking Group-1 name = '', but it does not work.

Thanks!

If it is showing zeros and the summaries can never be zero when the report is populated, then use a formula like this in the section expert for the group footer:

sum({table.amt},{table.group}) = 0

If you want the entire report not to print when there is no data, go into file->report options and check "suppress printing report if no data" (or something like that).

Thank you lbass.
I will try to suppress a group footer if summary amounts are zeros.
