How to hide combo arrow

Is there a way to hide a combo box drop down arrow when the combo control does not have focus?

Let me clirify. I want to hide arrow and allow data that is hidden by arrow to be visible not hide the arrow and data by a rectangle box colored same as combo background. I need the screen space. Is there a way do do this?

I wanted to do the same thing, but could find no property which enabled me to do so. As a work-around (since I have this control set to locked and not enabled), I created a box to hide the arrow portion of the control.
