How to handle XML in Delphi?

XML files are a kind of text file. What file extension did you want to convert XML documents to - .txt?

Yes, I need to convert the file to .txt. However, it's not a litteral conversion. I need to extract the data from the tags a create a line in the text file for each record with the fields being separated by a pipe.

Check out the Jedi Components (they are Open Source - free.) They have XML parsing components and Data-aware comonents for XML.
