I am wanting to group by a formula that will give me all the open items between 7 and 14 days and then another group for 14 - 21 and so on, so I cannot use the select expert. I am using the formula below, which gives me "true" or "false" and shows all the entries grouped by true or false as opposed to just those between 7 and 14 days. Not sure if there's a way to supress the false in the section expert or if I have to change the formula. I am using crystal reports 11.0. Thank you

{rptCompleteDetails_Job_ClientAsset.AgeInSeconds} in 604800 to 1209600

You should go to report->selection formula and add your formula there so that it includes the number of seconds between 7 and 21 days. Then create a second formula to group on:

if {rptCompleteDetails_Job_ClientAsset.AgeInSeconds} in 604800 to 1209600 then "7 to 14 days" else
"15 to 21 days"
