When i run a session i want to keep a record of all the rows inserted, updated, deleted and errors
in a table. any ideas as to how this can be acheived..

e.g say if i run 10 different sessions or workflows 10 new rows has to be inserted in the
a log table with the above information.

thanks in advance for ur help!

This and other associated msgs u had posted below cannot be done with the help of infomrmatica. U have write unix scripts (grep on keywords like "rows loaded" etc.) which will read the sessionlog from the unix path where it is kept. Else there is one work around. All the session related information are stored in informatica repository OPB tables. Right now i dont have the list of those tables. If u can get hold of that and know the one which stores thses informatiion then u can query those tables and get the information u desire (have to write a stored procedure for that)...i know ive not been much of help but atleast i told u not to bang ur head in search of the solution. ;-)

Take care buddy...

i guess thats the only way out coz i did not find any means to acheive that with informatica.

anyways thanx for ur suggestion!

HI,
You have to Pass SessionName & InstanceName & SessionStartDate as parameters to the small mapping which will lookup from rep_sess_log table and load into your table.

This will helpful only if you have access to meta data else you could ask to grant access to these views
