How do i change the client installation so it dont show a a popup saying my virus def is to old?

Just thinking about a solution.

There is a key in the registry that 'validates' that the outdated warning box has been shown to the user and that the user doesn't want to see it again.

I think it is this one:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Intel\LANDesk\VirusProtect6\CurrentVersion\NoWarnPattern

It is a binary key holding the definition date that is 'validated'.

I'd uninstall the whole thing. If you don't update the signatures, there doesn't seem like much point in having it anyway.

you can change the amount of time before it warns you in the symantec system center i believe, but I haven't had Symantec Corporate installed for months, since I switched to trendmicro
