This place is quickly becoming my favorite resource for info on my PBX (what a wealth of knowledge!). Can anyone tell me how to get some reports out of my Option 61? I inherited this system about 8 months ago, and the last guy who worked on it was pretty slack about outing TN's over his last few months with the company. Sad thing is, I was kind of slack about doing the same thing over my first couple months. Now our company is beginning to run short on TN's, and I was hoping to find out how to print out an audit report showing all used TN's along with the owner of the TN. That way I could find and out the phones that are no longer in use on our floor.

Any info on running other useful reports as well would be greatly appreciated (such as call time, calls in, calls out, etc.) Thanks!

You can list un-used TNs with LUVU in 11 or 20, 11 for sure, would show you any unequipt TNs, you can go to 32 and do a LDIS, listing built but disabled TNs, very good if LD 30 is in your midnite routine.
You can prt all names in LD 95, I have a 42xx did block, so I put 42 at the DN prompt and get them all. A lot more you can do as well.

ANother thing you can do is in LD 32;

>ld 32

NPR000
.IDU 36 0 6 6

M3900 TN: 036 0 06 06
TN ID CODE: M3904

NT CODE: NTMN03EA
COLOR CODE: 70
RLS CODE: 03
SER NUM: 085942

If nothing is connected, you will see;
>ld 32

NPR000
.idu 36 1 7 13

NPR501

This tells you if a device is connected to the TN. If not, out it. This might take a little longer, but it is sure fire!

Ok, got the .LUVU for both LD 20 and LD 11 to work. I also found some notes on .LUDN for unused DN's. However whenever I try the .LDIS in LD 32 I get the following...

>LD 32
NPR000
.LDIS

NPR002
.!
>ERR NPR002

NPR0002
Wrong number of input parameters for command.
Check data and re-enter the command.
Severity: Minor

I tried the suggestion for LD 95, but also get errors...

>LD 95
CND000

MEM AVAIL: (U/P): 6550210 USED U P: 213500

REQ PRT
TYPE 2616
SCH0111
TYPE DNB
SCH0111
TYPE !
>ERR SCH0111

SCH0111
You have entered an invalid response for that
prompt. The system is unable to match the field input
with the stored mnemonics.
Enter NEW, OLD, or {CR}.
Severity: Info

I tried enterign NEW and OLD at the TYPE prompt, but get the same SCH0111 error.

To prt the 2616, go to ld 11 or 20...not 95

to get the LDIS to work in ld 32, you need to add the loop and shelf:

.ldis 36 0

NONE
.

Name in 95 pal,
prt
0
type: name
dn prompt - X or XX or XXXX (dns

ld 32
ldis L S

loop shelf
put in your superloop IE
LDIS 4 0 <enter> if you have superloop 4, then go to the next
Sorry for not giving you more detail to begin with.

Go to LD81 and get yourself a full listing of all your set TNs first.

REQ = LST
CUST = 0
DATE = press enter key
PAGE = press enter key
DES = press enter key
FEAT = 2000 for digital sets
FEAT = 500 for analog sets
FEAT = press enter key

print out your list.

Now go to LD20

REQ = PRT
TYPE = TNB
TN = PUT IN THE TN FROM YOUR LIST IN LD81
CUST = 0
press enter through everything else

once the TN has been print, and you want to know if its disable or connected then...stay in ld20 or you can go to ld32

In LD20
REQ = IDU your TN
or
REQ = STAT your TN

in LD32
. IDU your TN
or
. STAT your TN

If you want to see all our TN programming laid out in a easy to read spreadsheet. Print and save a TNB.txt file. Go to and download the MV.xls file.

You can parse the TNB.txt file into the spreadsheet very easily.

look at ld 117

inv generate midnight.. then anytime past that

inv prt sets..

that will show all sets that do not idu,, disabled, and sets that do not match the as built.. great clean up tool. analog sets are not as easy

Wow, that excel spreadsheet of Jamie's is one killer peice of work! Thanks for that link, with some sorting it should be really easy to find those sets that dont conform to our plant standards. I'd suggest it to anyone.

And thanks to everyone else who posted, wish I had more stars to give out :(
