How to get page sub-totals in the page footer...

Hi people, first post here.
I am going crazy trying to figure this out. I have a report that has a varying number of detail records per page. I want/need to subtotal a count of all detail records that do not have an "x" in it per PAGE. The field is either null or has an "x" in it. I can do this without a problem in any group header/footer fine. But I need to display the subtotal in the PAGE FOOTER. Is this even possible?

This FAQ shows how to do counts, but you can modify this code to provide page subtotals.

I'm sorry. I tried the first thing I did when I started this report and this time it worked. Unbelieveable. It took me four hours of banging my head against the desk to get this.
