I had an issue with the data connection to a remote site, the issue has been resolved but I don't know how to get the 8300 out of LSP mode. I have rebooted the system, but it is still in LSP mode.
I thought that once the link was back up after a period of time the system would detect that and reboot and get out of LSP mode. Apparently I was wrong about that.

it will if in the CM you have a recovery rule set. the LSP should have come back after you did a reset system 4 in the LSP

Well that is what I did, but it still states when I log in that it is in LSP mode. There must be something else wrong because when I check the status of a station it shows either out-of-service. I have busy'd out and released the station, but still out of service.
I don't have any alarms or warnings.

Well in the process of writing this they have called stating their phones are working now, still same senerio. I am confused.

when I logon to the LSP and to that I show 2 links down under the H.248 Link Summary. But when I go into the main 8700 it shows 2 links up.

Telnet to the MG's, login as Root and at the # prompt type configure and then at the next prompt, type RESET MGP, The Media Gateway will reset and connect back to it original CLAN, if the link is ok

well it everything seems good now. I don't understand what was going on, but I will leave it at that. Thank you for your help.
