Hi

This might be a silly doubt, plz help.
How to find out IP Address from MAC address in Windows OS without using any tools...

Thanks in advance.

Do you mean your IP address? If so, just use "ipconfig /all"

This lists your MAC address and the associated IP address.

If you mean remote IP addresses that are part of your IP subnet, use the "arp -a" command.

Note if the MAC address belongs to a host that is not part of your IP subnet, you won't see that hosts IP or MAC address resolved on the PC using the "arp -a" command. Only your default gateway will be able to resolve the correct IP address so you may have to look there.

Hies,
I am preparing for CCNP 642-901 BSCI paper (New Routing)
if any one have brain dumps or some qustions or any other info related to the paper kindly share it.
Also if some one have given 642-901 Paper kindly share exams qustions and level of Diff.

ipconfig /all will show you your MAC address...my $.02

When you are ready to use available tools, let us know

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

Try to ping the machine name if you know it. It should resolve to an IP address.
