How To Get Into Bios - Compaq Presario 6000

Hello,

Does anyone know what key(s) I need to hit to get into the bios of a Compaq Presario 6000?

In trying one of the suggestions in this forum I need to get into the bios. I cannot find the key combination anywhere. The Compaq\hp site does not seem show this info.

could be a a F# key or Delete

Most likely F2 or Del.

Could also be F1 or F10, but that's not too common anymore.

one of the more obscure keys I've found was holding down escape whilst turning the power on.
