Hi:

We have 6 GB of RAM on our db server, and we need it all for our SQL server. After upgrading Windows 2000 Standard to Windows 2003 Enterprise we hoped to get all 6 GB of RAM, but OS shows (in MyComputer-Properties) only 3,7 GB of RAM. How can we get OS to grab all RAM available (6 GB)?
Thanks a lot.

Thanks a lot. Any known downside of doing that?

Not that im aware of, and i think you "MUST" do it if you want to access the extra RAM. Does require a reboot.
