Can anyone tell me how to call forward to a number outside the switch? I tried 9, then the number and it told me to please check my dial plan.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks TB

I works with a button but not with the feature code for me. I don't know why.

I would first check to see that the COS of the extension is question is not restricted to call forward off net and then make sure the frl level of the COR assigned to that extension is also able to place that call normally. If all checks out then us should be able to dial the call forward feature code followed by 9 then the telephone number followed by the #. That should work.

I'd recommend any flavor of Telecommute as opposed to Call-Forwarding. Gives the Admin/Company a little more control of where the call is going.

Thanks,
CJH

Also a cover path remote works well and gives you a lot more control as 98Converter has mentioned. You dont want to open yourself up to any type of toll fraud.
