I have an analog line going into a dictation system, I need to forward that number to an outside 800 number to an offsite dictation system. How can I forward an analog extension to an 800 number? Basically, I want this extension to forward directly to the 800 number.

Thanks

fastest way is to out the set and build it as a phantom or maxp 1 acd, i use the acd route

out the set (or change the dn)
new
acd
cust 0
acdn 1234
maxp 1
ncfw 91800xxx1234

that will send 1234 to that 1800 without any internal delay.. you can just hard forward the set,, using the call forward code or use rcfw to forward it from your desk... all the code are in ld 57 prt ffc 0 all.. will give you the list..

So basically, this doesn't even use up a TN? Also, what do you mean by hard forward the set?

Hard Forward = Pickup handset get dial tone, Dial forward code dial forward location

you can find the code in ld 57.

Print out the flexible feature codes and look for cfwa and cfwd

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.
