Hi all,
Ext. A gets forwarded to ext. B. Ext B is forwarded to ext. C. When a call comes to ext A it goes to ext B, rings four times and instead of going to ext. C it goes back to the v/m of the first ext. A. How do I make it follow all the way to ext. C?
Def G3si V12
Thank you

Use cover paths instead of call forwarding.

Assign cover path x to A
In cover path x make B the first point abd C the second.

Thank you. Unfortunately, both extensions A and B have to be forwarded manually and they cannot follow any time table. When person A steps away from the desk she forwards her phone to ext. B to answer, but if person B needs to leave, she forward her phone to ext. C. She does not know if person A forwarded her ext to B or not. Both ext A and B has cover path to v/m.
Any ideas?
Thank you

The way I get this to work is: A call forwards to B as if B was an outside call, 9+ the number, then when the call goes to B it will follow the forwarding of B.

Hope this helps...

Add two coverage paths, Cover path 1 to B cover path two to C. Assign the user rights to toggle between coverpaths

toosober,
It not only helps, but it works! Very simple. Thank you, have a star and don't get too sober tonight, you deserve it.

If you really want a forward to a forward:

There is a special feature:
(SA8623) - Chained Call Forwarding? n

This needs to be opened in the license.

Thanks Telthd...I was not aware this could be activated. I have always been told that it could not be done, but never why!

I activated it and it works thanks!!!!!

only cost 0,01 euro

Is it possible to use it in Definity G3si v12? If yes, how can I do it?
Thank you

Look in

display system special features

and look for

(SA8623) - Chained Call Forwarding? n

If its there than you can activate it whit a new licence file.

big70,
I am not sure how to convert EURO to USD...if I run it through on of those online conversion tools:

only cost 0,01 euro= 1.43 USD

Doesnt sound right to me??? I am sure I am not converting this correctly, I honestly know nothing of the euro, sorry.

0,01 euro is 1.42635 USD to be exact [afro]

So from now every new install of my it wil be default on Y

big70,
Where and how can I get that magic licence file that unlocks the feature?

toosober,
1 euro (not 0,01) = 1.43 USD, does this sound right? it should.
