Hi,

Does anyone know how to change the decial point place, for crosstabs? By defult all values that are whole do not have any decimal place, but we need to change this to two.

Example (current):

ID CH4%
1 2.1
2 0
3 6.73

Example (needed):

ID CH4%
1 2.10
2 0.00
3 6.73

Thanks in advance

Please see the method in thread149-1179423, except you can probably insert a SQL expression instead of using a command.

Thanks Ibass,

I worked out the problem though, the crosstab was originally targeting the VALUE stored as a TEXT column, rather than the identical value from the NUMERICAL column. (i don't know if this is a normal way to design a large database, but it is what i have to work with).

So, I changed it to the numerical values, and it worked.

But...now we cannot retrieve TEXT from the "Comments" column. Is there anyway to have the crosstabe retrieve NUMERIC AND TEXT values, only as appropiate?

Thanks.

Sorry, I'm not following you. Please provide more detail about the crosstab set-up.

I believe Crosstab only has Numberic Option in Format field if your field is Numeric values. If your field looks like numeric values but it defines as text, then you will not see that option I think.

So try a way to change it to numberic.
