HOW TO: Flood fill and area with black and white squares 1

Is it possible to flood fill and area with black and white squares? If so, how do you do it?

Hi Lee,

Don't know if this will be too late to help, but you can do it ...

Open a new image at 100x100
Set Paintbrush to square /size 50 and using black “paint" a square Top Right
Then paint another Bottom Left, making sure they touch corner to corner.
If necessary, use crop to get rid of any spare canvas round your B&W squares.
Click on one of the colors in the color palette and click on the Pattern tab.
Use the downward arrow next to the Current Pattern display and find your B&W squares
Select the area and then Flood Fill

You may have to adjust sizes to fit your graphic.

What can I say? A huge thanks to you, this completely resolved my issue for which I'm grateful. I used your suggestion and reduced the size of the paintbrush to 25 and the image to 50. That produced this result:

So the smaller the paintbrush, the smaller the square!
