Hi
I have recently started working in a really large environment with multiple sites and domains. I can find users easily enough but it sometimes very hard to find where they are. Is there a quick way to find where a user is located in a domain?

Action - Find in your ADUC.

I'm Certifiable, not cert-ified.
It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.

If you enable the Advanced Features in ADUC from the "View" menu you will get a new tab called "Object". When you search AD and find the user check the "Object" tab to see the exact OU it can be found in.

Hi
I have found another way and that is the "published at"
action > find > put in a name > find now > View > choose columns > scroll down to published at in the left column > click add > click Ok > the path to what you are looking for will appear along with the search result.
Since i found this i have saved lots of time

Well that is a pretty cool technique, I like it.

You could just write a script to do it as well.
