My customer reinstalled there server and changed the IP scheme. How do I find out what IP address the 403 unit is? I plugged directly into the unit and set it up to broadcast and manager doesn't see it. I know it’s not the default 192.168.42.1. It was set up on a different segment and need to find it. Please help...

If you plug in a DTE lead and reboot it will send out the IP in Hex

If the ipoffice is still set to broadcast for a voicemail machine, run VM Lite and wait for the ipo to contact it , the IP address will show in vm lite, even if it is in a different address range but on the same physical lan

You could ask what their old IP address range was. Give yourself a static IP in that range, plug your laptop onto the system and find it that way.

put your pc on a subnet and ping every address. keep going and you are guaranteed to get a reply sooner or later...
keep changing the subnet when you reach ip .254
keep changing the subnet when you reach ip .254
I think the DTE is the best solution
Only you do not have to reboot the system !
Type in hyperterminal the next

It shows the ipadres in hex
Maybe sysname instead of system will work too but then it is shown as a normal ipadres
