How to find out name of installed network card?

How do you find out which network adapters are installed? I'm using VB6 and I want to find out programmatically the names of any LAN cards installed on the computer.

I need this info in order to read network data from the system monitor control - for which I have to specify the name of the LAN card.

Any idea how I do this?
