I know nothing about Clarion, but I have to find out version of .dat files. It is DOS application; it could be Clarion 2.8 maybe less (maybe more too :)
How to find out difference? Maybe some files headers, or something?
I use ccvt.exe (ver 2.1) but i have "invalid input file" error.
I try dfPower DBMS/Copy for Windows v8.0 - the same
The files aren't wrong for sure.
Please help me.

P.S. Sorry for my english ;)

There were two clarion DAT file formats and no more that I am aware of. The change happened just at or after 2.108.

To find the version of ccvt enter "ccvt !" at the command line.
