In my VB project I read data from different tables as per the user input, I decide the table name from the user input, before my select statement I should know if the table exist in my database. Can anyone get me the command for this?

Thanks

What database are you using? What tool are you using to connect to your database?

I am using Visual Basic 6 and my database is in Access.
I need to find whether a table exist in the database

Are you connecting with DAO or ADO? If you are using ADO you can take a look at the .openschema method.
