My HR dept is telling us that they must be notified if anyone wants to do any kind of recording. We have stations out there with the audix record button but I have no idea which ones they are. Is there a way to search for this?

I tried list usage button-type but it didn't give audix record as an option.

We're on CM 2.2.2 and we have 64xx & 46xx phones.

You can do this yourself; see thread690-1507187.

“Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.
Then, when you criticize them, you are a mile away ...
and you have their shoes.”

So that thread says to:

"Use the report feature in ASA, enter the command
display station xxxx count nnnnn where xxxx is the first station in your database, and nnnnn is the max number of stations you might have. Click on "Export Fields to File", give a file name and run it."

Doing a display station xxxx count nnnn gives you a list of them but you have to hit next page and there's no way I can see to export it. I tried list sta and you can export this to a file but it doesn't give you button data.

Forgot to mention I've opened a ticket w/ avaya to see if they can do what the tier3 user above said (sorry but I'm not giving access to a user on the internet :p )

Here's what the file looks like when I run it:

"4973","2420","X","/NASM 31","","10","","1","1","1","","","",""
"4974","2420","X","/NASM 32","","10","","1","1","1","","","",""
"4975","2420","X","/Open","","10","","2","2","1","","","",""
"4976","6408D+","X","/Open","","10","","1","81","8","","","",""

There's no buttons in it?

- Use ASA and select the "Report" option under Advanced.
- Key in the command "disp stat 0001 count 1000" (starting with your first station and how many stations you need).
- Select the option "Export fields to file" and name the file.
- Change the Field Delimiter to "tab" and the text qualifer to "none".
- Check "export column titles on first row".

Open the file in Excel. Each station type will be layed out differently, but the station buttons can be found around column 70 to 130 or so.

Ah ha!!

Thanks for spelling it out for me. That worked like a charm!!!

Glad to help. I've used this command about once a month or so since I learned about it.

I've been trying to figure out how to get all the button info, this is great.
Even Avaya didn't know how. At least they said they didn't know how.
Thanks a billion.
