I have an 81C 1000MG rel 4.5 and was asked if I have an open t1 - how do I find that out?

My main objective is to set one up if available or if not what needs to be done to create one.

Go to LD 22 and do a PRT then CEQU, look for DLOP those are T1. Then go to LD 60 and do a STAT and se if any are DISABLED, if so you may have a open T1. If you are using Dual Port T1 cards you may have a spare but not programed

Here's a couple of (okay, a few) things to consider when searching for an "open" T-1. Look for an NT5D12 or a QPC 720 with a red light on it. The red light will indicate that the card is disabled, not programmed, or in trouble. Obviously a trouble would need to be cleared, but the other 2 cases could indicate an available T-1 position. Go to LD 60 and type STAT. If you find a T-1 in a DSBL status, find out why before you try to reallocate it. It could be that it was taken out of service (if you're lucky) and not used again. If the loop number of the red-light card does not appear in a STAT, chances are good you have identified an "open" T-1.

Dealing with T-1s and PRIs is getting into a bit more advanced level of programming. It's definitely not entry level programming. If you have ANY doubt about what you are viewing (or doing) make a call to your vendor. It could be money VERY well spent.

Good luck.

good info - I do understand just need a little help.
I am not on site right now. I do know the 720 and there is a dual pri card installed.
I can get more info to you when I get onsite -
I know that I don't have any installed and disabled.
If I do have a dual pri or is a 720 a dual card. I guess Here is a print out of my cequ:

check loop 17, if a dual pri, you should be fine. A 720 only supports 1 T-1

From this it's hard to tel what you may have
