How do I find out (besides putting a trace on the station) what trunk is used for outbound calling?

This is for a remote site registering via WAN to a central S8800 CM 6.0

The trace is your easiest method, but if you wanted another way you could do:

"list ars route-chosen 13125551212 loc 3" if you wanted to see what route pattern 13125551212 would take from location 3.

Thanks Randy.

What I don't understand is when you set up a new remote site how do you program/ configure which trunk outbound calls will take. I know that creating ARS tables will dictate the route (for the entire switch)but how do you select for a specific network region?

Set up the network map with the subnet of the remote location (change ip-network-map) and assign a network region.
Then set the location for that network region (change ip-network-region xx).
Finally, set up ARS specifically for that location (change ars analysis location xx)

And there is where the pink comes from
