How to extract CDR files? 1

I need to extract CDR files from MY call manager for my implementation of call accounting system. Is it possible on hyperterminal?

Which version are you running? Version 4 and below the data is stored in an SQL DB on the publisher. For version 5 and up, it's in a different type of DB (can't recall which type at the moment), but you can configure the system to push out plain text CDR logs via FTP on a scheduled interval.

From the Serviceability Page, go to the Tools menu and select CDR Management. From there, you can add a server profile that the Publisher will log into and upload the files. By default it will send data every minute, but you can change that in the Enterprise Parameters page.

From 5.0 and above it uses Informix database.
