Hi

I have developed some reports in Crystal reports ver 8
and I use to execute in the browser by passing DB user name and password as arguments

Now we started using the CR9.... I am able to execute the report from browser using "pageViewer.asp" But this prompts for DB user name and password.

Could any one help me how to pass argument

Also please let me whether I am trying in the correct method to execute the report in WEB

Please give some idea ASAP.... please let me know where can i download some useful doc for Ver9

Thanks, this gives a better understanding....

Would like to know is there is any way to call the (.rpt) file directly from the browser, like the Crystal Report Version 8.

In Version 8 we can call the report from browser like following..

"&password-databasename.servicename="password"
&param0=123123&&param1=dfdsf" etc.......

How can we do this in Version 9????????
