Dear Team
I am working with Sage MAS90 4.2 product. I am retriving the Datas from SOTAMAS90 Database using ODBC Connections. I am using ProvideX ODBC Driver version 4.10 for my database. Then when I want to Insert or update records into the Database it throws the error as "ERROR[S0000][ProvideX][ODBC Driver][FILEIO]Write mode access is not enabled for this driver".
I found from the write access is given to PrivideX Driver 3.31 or Later. Kindly give your ideas in providing write permission for my above driver.
Regards

DO NOT use the read/write ODBC driver under any circumstances. It will result in 100% data corruption 100% of the time. It was NOT designed for or intended for use with MAS90 or MAS200. If you are on v4.20 then you should be using the Business Object Interface to write to the data entry tables.

Dear Mr.BigLouie
Thanks for your valuable suggestions.
I am also working with MAS200. Here I am writing to DataBase using Sql Server and Sql connections directly. Is it is advisable?.

How can I relate the Header Table with Detail table in MAS200 and MAS90.
Regards

You need to go to the Data Files class before you attempt to do anything.

I would agree, if you are going to write sales orders, then use the Business Objects Interface.
