How to enable SNMP on 3500 1

I would like to know how to enable SNMP on a 2900
and 3500 Cisco Switch.?
I have not been able to find
it or get it too work for me.

access-policy Define an SNMPv2 access policy (acl)

community Enable SNMP; set community string and access privs

Is that what you are looking for? Looks like SNMP is supported just fine.

Using solarwinds App. When I entered the ip address and the community strings none worked and I know that we did change the strings from private/public too one of our liken. NO Go?

I wanting to know how do you enable SNMP on the 3500s?
