I created a crystal report from a blank report. The page headers do not print on even number pages because the page header has suppress set to "remainder(pagenumber,2) = 0". The formula is greyed out so I cannot edit it from the formula workshop. How do I modify this?

Check to make sure that the READONLY checkbox isn't selected.Right click the section and select fornmat section, at the bottom is READ ONLY.

If this fails, please post your software version.

You should be going into the section expert->page header->suppress->x+2 to change or remove the formula.

lbass, that's where I went, but the formula "remainder(pagenumber,2)=0" is greyed out and I cannot edit it.

synapsevampire, the readonly box is not checked. The software version is 11.0.0.1282

Are you getting to the section expert by going to report->section expert? The only time I've seen formulas grayed out was in the workshop tree when I was working in a conditional formatting area and then checking formatting formulas in various sections in the workshop tree.

lbass, that worked. I had been getting to the section expert by right clicking on the section names on the left side of the designer.

I also have a similar problem with page numbers in the footer. The footer is printed on every page, but the page number only appears on odd number pages.

I would right click on the pagenumber->format field->common->suppress->x+2 and remove the formula there.
