Is there a PDF file Creator which you can edit after the PDF is created. I also cannot see a "save" option in the
"PDFCreator 0.8" program or do I look at the wrong place?

Besides "PDFCreator 0.8" are there other PDF file Creator Programs on the Shareware Market?

Thank you for your input.
Charles Keller.

Erm.. Adobe Acrobat of course (€400), but there are cheaper alternatives like e.g. PDF Editor 2.2 ( which is shareware (€40 for a license).
I didn't find a freeware PDF creator by googling because the freeware keyword is too popular for spamsites :(

Peace,

There are several free PDF creators on the market. CUTE (CUTE software) makes one as well as several others. But they only create the PDF from a text file. Once in PDF format, you can't edit in the same format. You'll need to edit the original text file.

There's always a better way. The fun is trying to find it!

GhostScript (v8.x) is a free software that can help you make PDF files, but, PDF is not a very friendly output file to edit. If you don't have the original file it was created in, your not going to be able to do much good. The whole point of PDF files is for them NOT to be editable... that's why they are called Portable Document Format.

"In space, nobody can hear you click..."

Well, it is possible though to edit PDF-files through Adobe Acrobat or through e.g. the shareware utility I posted.
True, PDF wasn't made for this, and you'll have to be carefull not to ruin your whole lay-out. But for e.g. spelling errors it is suitable.

Freeware called PdfEdit995 at the following site may do what you are asking: I been using Pdf995, another program from this website, to create .pdf documents for over 2 years. It does an excellent job. Have never tried the PdfEdit995 program however.

Thank you all for your valuable input, I learned a lot from it.
Keep well: ...Charles Keller.

Adobe Photoshop can edit PDF files as long as its editing features were preserved during the process of exporting to PDF file.
