How to downgrade a firmeware of a serveraid & where can i get old ones

Hello again,

I was wondering how i could downgrade the firmware of my 4LX Controller and where i get old versions.

I only have version 7.12.04 and 7.12.07.

When i try to change the firmware with the IBM discs it only tells me that no update is required

5.xx is ancient. Do you not want all the fixes in the newer code?

6.11 is fine to use, to downgrade simply get an old ServeRAID CD

And then when the CD is booting, and you see the lightning icon when it's about to talk about 'flashing' click repeatedly the lightning !! It will allow you to force-flash the old bios to the card.

I have done this MANY times without any problems
