Hello,

We are doing some power maintenance and need to gracefully shutdown SV8300 pbx?

We have full access to the system via admin software PCProSV8300.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks,

I don't think it really matters these days as they are designed to self recover from unexpected power outages but I would start shutting down the CPU first then working out through any additional Pims an then power up in reverse. The reasoning being the CPU goes down first so that any additional Pims going down don't create any alarms and when powering up the additional Pims are there and working when the CPU powers up so no alarms there. You may then need to reboot any IP phones.

However I have never actually seen any instructions for this so I may be totally wrong, Let's see if anyone else has any ideas.

Ozzie is correct in the procedure. I would add as a precaution to do a back up of the data base first.
